what is a barcode? 

A barcode is a code that a computer can recognize. It is a code made by combining black and white bars of different thicknesses and is mainly used to distinguish products. Since there is a traditional type of linear (one-dimensional) linear barcode, and it is difficult to contain a lot of information, a matrix (2-dimensional) code has been developed and used later.
